Maybe you’ve been applying and never hear back. Maybe you don’t know what kind of job is right for you. Or maybe you just need someone in your corner to help you take the next step. Wherever you’re starting from, you don’t have to do it alone.
At Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU), we’re here to meet you where you’re at. If you’re between 15 and 30 and not working full-time, you can walk through our doors, no appointment needed, no cost to you. There’s no wrong time to start. If you’re under 18, you just need to be legally out of school.
We know life isn’t always simple. If you’ve hit roadblocks, we’ll help figure out what’s standing in the way and walk alongside you as you move forward. We won’t hand you a list and send you off — you’ll have a Youth Employment Specialist who checks in, helps you adjust when things don’t go as planned, and celebrates the wins with you. And if you need support to make things possible — like a bus pass, clothing, tools, or other essentials — we’ve got you covered.
Here's how it works:
- Step 1: Sit down with one of our Youth Employment Specialists and share what’s going on in your life right now.
- Step 2: Together, we’ll figure out your next step — maybe that’s building a résumé, practicing for an interview, or making a plan to search for jobs in a way that works for you.
- Step 3: When you’re ready, we’ll also connect you to other opportunities, like training programs, workshops, or extra supports that can make things easier.
You set the pace. We’ll be here every step of the way.
