Events are a great way to raise awareness and funds for the vital programs we offer youth in London and Middlesex County. The possibilities are endless for the types of events and initiatives community members can organize: bake sales, sporting tournaments, concerts, auctions, galas… the list goes on!
Consider ways that you can turn your hobby, interest or passion into an event that you can share with your friends and community, all while making a real contribution to the future of our youth.
This could be making a special occasion even more meaningful by asking for donations in lieu of presents for birthdays, anniversaries, retirement celebrations or other milestones. This can be easily done via social media as well.
If you have a small business, consider donating a portion of sales of a particular item or during a set timeframe.
