We are looking to recruit a magnetic, passionate, experienced and motivated Host / Hostess (Maître D) to join our family.

Job Description:
● Advise on wine selection and serve wine
● Liaise between chefs and customers
● Inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas
● Greet customers
● Assist clients/guests with special needs
● Perform opening and closing activities
● Receive customers' reservations and assign tables
● Answer customers' questions regarding menu items and preparation methods
● Receive payments from customers
● Address customers' complaints or concerns
● Provide over-the-top, exceptional guest service
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: At least 1 to 3 months of on-the-job training as a host/hostess or Maître D is required. Additional training will be provided.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Work under pressure, Physically demanding.
Personal Suitability: Team player, Initiative, Flexibility, Excellent oral communication, Effective interpersonal skills, Organized, Client focus, Charismatic, Well-dressed / Well groomed preferred
Salary: $14.25 to $16.00 hourly – 37.5-44 hours per week
Benefits: If the worker needs to relocate, the employer will cover the travel expenses.
Important Information:
Flexibility in schedule is required. Work schedule involves Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; from
11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with an unpaid break of 30 minutes. Tuesdays and Wednesday off. Overtime may be required.
