Job Description:
Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
Repair cracks and holes
Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Prepare walls for painting (Scraping, Sanding, Caulking)
May drive a van to and from the work locations
Requirements:
-Education: Completion of secondary school is preferred.
-Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the trade is required. If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience, then a post-secondary certificate is required.
-Experience using roller painting and brush painting is preferred.
-Experience in drywall taping/patching is an asset.
-Valid driver’s license is an asset.

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs.).
Language: Basic English is required
Salary: $21.00 to $22.00 hourly, 40-45 hours per week.
Benefits: Medical benefits and disability insurance is provided. The employer will provide uniform and tools at no cost. Company vehicle supplied for work purposes only. Transportation costs covered if a worker needs to relocate. Accommodation is available at a cost.
Important Information:
This position requires flexibility in schedule. The worker will be required to work 5 days per week, 8-9 hours per day, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, (sometimes starting at 8:30am or 9:00am), occasional Saturday’s schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime might be required, including weekends (roughly once every 4-6 weeks) and holidays according to the business needs.
