Job Description:
· Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
· Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
· Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
· Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
· Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
· Service attachments and working tools
· Verify and repair emission control systems, fuel injection system, exhaust system, cooling system , air conditioning system, lubrication system and engine control system
· Major internal engine repairs or overhaul
· Installation and alignment of engines and machinery
· Keep maintenance reports and documentation
· Perform repair work on heavy trucks and other vehicles
· Occasionally drive to attend to service calls
Requirements
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in the trade is required
- Experience in mechanical transmissions, hydraulic transmissions and highway vehicle tires and wheels is an asset
- Driver’s license is required

Salary: $ 30.75 to $31.75 hourly, 40-45 hours per week
Other Information:
Must have flexible availability. Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and occasionally on weekends depending on the business’ needs. On-call work and overtime may be required.
