Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations
• Prepare dough for noodles
• Make beef broth for noodles
• Prepare hand pulled noodles on site
Requirements
- Education: Completion of high school is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook. If candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience then a post-secondary certificate is required
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks
-Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Team player, Reliability, Organized
- Deep understanding of the features of wheat, dough and noodles
- Make different size and shape of noodles (such as MoXi, Xi, ThreeXi, TwoXi, JoYe, Kuan and Dakuan)
- Language: ability to communicate in Mandarin is an asset

Salary: $18.00 Hourly, 42.00 Hours per week
Important Information: Must have flexible availability – weekends and holidays. Work schedule - Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
