Job Description:
• Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
• Run the CNC mill (filling jigs with parts to be machined)
• Keep machines clean
• Fill machines with coolant
• Check parts with gauges to see if parts are still conforming
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Mathematical skills are required
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance activities in order to be able to identify problems is an asset
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Repetitive tasks, overtime required
- Work site environment: Noisy
- Weigh handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Language: Basic level of English is required
Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 hourly, 45 - 50 hours per week
Benefits: Transportation costs cover if worker needs to relocate. Protective equipment will be provided, Safety
glasses/goggles, Gloves, and Ear protection.
Important Information:
Work schedule is from Monday to Friday. Work will start at 8:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. The job requires flexibility in schedule due to operation. Overtime and work on weekends may be required
