Job Description:

Assist to inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
Assist to adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
Assist to test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
Assist to perform scheduled maintenance service
Assist to inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
Assist to repair or replace mechanical units or components
Test and adjust units to specifications
Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Estimate parts and labour costs
Provide customer service

Requirements:

-Education: Completion of high school is required.

-Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. In the event that the candidate does not have 2 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate related to the field is required.

-G Type Driver´s license is required for vehicle testing and diagnosing.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Overtime required

Language: English is required.

Salary: $27.00 to $28.00 per hour, 51 hours per week

Important information: This position will require working from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Flexibility on schedule is required. Overtime is required.
